Transmission distance of various external devices in security monitoring

 

 

A transmission line is not stretched as long as you want. If it exceeds the range of the transmission medium, various abnormalities may occur, so please click this article before wiring to understand the transmission distance of various external devices. The distances introduced below are theoretical distances, and the actual wiring environment shall prevail!

Note:

It is recommended to use a single-core coaxial cable, namely SVY75-5-1 or SVY75-3-1. Multi-strand copper wire is not recommended!

Transmission medium: twisted pair

With a dedicated BNC to twisted pair converter, the transmission distance is about 200M.

 

Note

 

Use thick-core cables as much as possible for twisted-pair cables, such as cables drawn from CAT-5e cables.

  2. VGA cable: theoretical 20M, when the transmission exceeds 20M, it is recommended to add a signal amplifier
