Really! Today, I will tell you a few reasons why EV Charger cannot be borrowed casually.
1. Different functions
Although they are all chargers, they are different. Some EV chargers now have many functions, such as anti-reverse connection, zero output, pulse repair and so on.
Such a charger is good for the battery, but some inferior chargers do not have these functions, and some even keep charging when fully charged. This situation will damage the battery and may even be dangerous.
2. different models
This is one of the most important reasons why EV Charger cannot be borrowed.
EV Chargers on the market now usually have 48V, 60V and 72V, etc. If we use a larger model than our own EV Charger, it may not take a long time to charge our own battery. Scrapped.
On the contrary, if we use an EV Charger that is smaller than our own battery model, our battery will always be under-charged, or it will be charged with virtual power, so the battery's mileage will be reduced.
3. The charging interface problem
Everyone should know that the charging port of an electric vehicle is composed of three contact points, and the angle of the three contact points of some charging ports is different, which will also cause the charger of the electric vehicle to be unable to connect to the charging port at all.
There is also a situation where the positive and negative poles of some electric vehicles do not match the chargers on the market, and their wiring is reversed. It is very dangerous if the EV Charger we borrowed does not have reverse connection protection.
Therefore, we should not just borrow other people's EV Charger or lend our own EV Charger to others. If we really need to borrow EV Charger, we must check whether our battery and EV Charger model match.
